War of the Ages: The First Demon War

In a world parallel to earth, mythical creatures rule. Each type of creature has their own section of the land. The ruling species are vampires; they own most the land, have the biggest armies and are merciless to their enemies they’ve built that Empire over many years. The fear that has been gained from their power has kept peace, for the most part. But… 16 years ago revolutions started popping up in small sections of the land, causing unrest. Only the species that revolt knew what caused this.
Little did any of the inhabitants of the land know that a barrier between their land and a more dangerous land was slowly breaking away. Portals started popping up in the middle of Vampire territory and mysterious creatures started coming through them. These creatures would soon be recognized as demons.
It did not take long for the Demons to split the Vampires’ land in half causing a strategic disadvantage for them by cutting of supplies to the south. Now the two sides are in a war. Probably the first of many. This is the story of the first war between the Demons and Vampires.

Species info
Vampires: They are considered the strongest in the land due to their sheer number. Their strength is average, but they have a strong affinity to magic. They tend to be relatively immortal, only dieing due to fatal wounds and poisoning. Also, they can die from Starvation, human blood is the only thing that satiates them but they can eat regular food to stifle that for a while. As a result of the need of human blood, they take unsuspecting humans to turn into blood-slaves.
They are ruled by a monarchy, their current king is the strongest in 200 years. The army raised by them has about 500,000 in-service soldiers, 250,000 on standby, and 1,000 elites.
Among their weaknesses is garlic, this is highly poisonous to them; it won’t kill them unless a large amount is introduced at one. Obsidian blades are a very deadly weakness as obsidian is fatally poisonous to them, if a cut from a blade like that isn’t treated within the hour, they will almost certainly die. Concentrated UV rays will burn right through their skin like a laser, although the sun does not harm them as the rays are not concentrated nearly enough. As stated before, fatal wounds will kill them just like humans.
These creatures usually use medieval style weapons, only resorting to modern/human weapons in time of great need. They armor they use is very much styled like the weapons but they have it made by elves so that it’s more light-weight.

A vampire with non-pure blood will have a baby in 2 ½-4 months. The exception is if they are a werepyre, a vampire with a bit of werewolf DNA, they have the same gestation period as a werewolf. No one knows why the non-pure blood has a shorter pregnancy span. Vampires grow relatively fast reaching age 5 in a few weeks then growing normally from then on.

They are rule by five demon lords, decided upon by strength, one for each element. Their dimension has five sections, one for each Demon lord. Ice, fire, lightning, earth, and wind are the five types of Demon. Their army is as big as their population with the elites being trained by the demon lords themselves.

When the dimensional barriers started breaking causing the portals to open, they quickly gained a strategic foot hold right in the middle of the vampire’s land. They can wear armor, some do, but others have a tough, dragonscale-like exterior.
Demons come in all shapes and sizes, they could be anywhere from 2 feet tall to 200 feet tall to being big enough to be their own side dimension.
They don’t necessarily ‘breed’ as they can make a creature pregnant with just a touch of the lips, although most keep to the traditional way. One thing about when they have other creatures have their babies is that the lover must give consent or it won’t happen. No one quite gets why given the nature of Demons. Gestation period depends on the power of the demon growing inside the womb. It could be anywhere from a week to 3 years. The stronger the Demon is the faster it develops. When a demon is born it is immediately allowed to change its age to whatever it wants, from there on it grows normally although Demons that mock a human look can look a certain age forever.
Werewolves: Werewolves are a species that can be human-like, wolf-like or somewhere in between at will. They are as strong as demons but barely have any magical abilities. Every year when the moon turns red, usually during the summer solstice, they gain great magical abilities and ten times their strength, however it never lasts long enough to win anything but a minor battle. On average they have 150 year life spans; the oldest werewolf has lived 200 years. They are siding with the Demons in this war.
They are ruled by a King. This king is decided by a test of strength against another, usually a fight to the death. The king that is on the throne at the time can be challenged at any time for his crown. They do not have an army; all werewolves are required to be ready to battle at anytime.
They have three weaknesses. The first weakness is fire, no matter what kind of werewolf it is, the oils that come from their skin are highly flammable. High frequency sounds are the second weakness, these sounds hurt their ears immobilizing them for a few minutes. The final, and most deadly, weakness they have is silver. Elves are ruled by a council of seven, they think monarchy is too corrupt to use. The council is decided by the vote of the people of their territory, kind of a democracy. They have no army as they keep out of the fighting only defending themselves and supplying the vampires with armor and weapons.
Most elves are weak to dark magic as a result of staying on the light side of magic. Other than that their only weakness is close range fighting without infantrymen.
Elves have the same gestation period as a human, lasting 9 months. Kids are raised until they are thirteen then put through a test of strength and magic. It decides their place in the society.
Humans: Humans are on their own side no matter what. They join no side but they want to let the vampires and demons fight. While they are fighting they will attack both sides. Out of all the species the humans are the most technologically advanced, they are the only species that are able to use advanced technologies like their proton cannons and UV guns. They have little magical ability however people are born with natural powers that can boost their abilities.
Since the humans only have about 150 miles of land they are ruled by a single person elected by the people and a few others who overlook the one who is ruling.
The weakness of humans is how frail they are compared to other species; they are the weakest but have great potential. Their strength is how diverse they are, having foot soldiers, mages and long range fighters. The last strength is their technology which is far more advanced than any other creatures’.
Their Gestation period is nine months and they raise their kids till age 16 then they become adults.
Sentients: Not much is known, they live is a separate dimension and can turn into anything.

Power: She has the power to teleport, she can use chains and weapons well, she is a skilled fighter.
Personality: Locket isn’t too shy but she likes to keep to herself, she rarely trusts people without putting her sword to their neck first. She does fear werewolves and vampires somewhat. She will give her life for what she believes in. When Locket was little she was kidnapped from her family and taken by demons, those demons now control her and even left a mark on her arm that proves she belongs to them. Her powers rest in her eye and as long as she can see and its fine she has powers. The demons who took her want her to kill every Vampire and werewolf out there and stop at nothing until they’re all dead.

She tends to cry more than she does actually speak. Being too young when her parents died and having to watch them die she has been traumatized and is very confused about life and where she belongs. She just wants everything to be in peace, which it never can be.

She has long white hair and blue eyes, sometimes she wears a red ribbon in her hair. She does not wish to speak to people often and sometimes runs away from them when or if they talk to her. Doll was a messed up orphan, she has no idea where she came from. She wants to figure out her past but wants to stop the war too, she doesn’t have much of a clue on whats going on and doesn’t know what side to even be on. Whose good?

Personality: Rai can be quite cold and is very calm under normal circumstances. He realises he has to fight for his life on a daily basis so maintains his cold personality to help him kill when needed. He is one of the only people who can calm Ramona down if she gets into a rage

"You think there are any survivors?" A knight on horseback asked the man examining the charred remains of the division that went ahead of him.
"No," He said wiping a strand of brown hair away from his eye then wiping the soot on his red over coat that went down into a cape structure, kinda like a trench coat. "It was his doing." His dark green eyes lit with fury.
"I guess this means that he has passed through the portal?"
"I'm not sure yet... Come, lets go before we end up like our friends here."
"Yes prince Haruko." THe Knight started riding back to their group while Haruko looked back at the battlefield full of his fallen comrades.
After a minute he hopped on his horse and followed the knight.
A black haired girl hopped out of the burnt bushes near the battle field as soon as Haruko left. "Here's what we are dealing with." She spoke quietly into a device in her ear. "Vampire infantry about 5 miles North, their leader is the prince himself. Also judging from this battle field a Demon lord crossed through the gates not too long before, he could be a problem they are too powerful for us."
From about a half a mile away the purple headed girl marked her map with the locations being told to her through the earpiece. "Sis, which Demon Lord?"
"Fire." The black girl haired said a bit worried.
"That's not good, we might need to retreat this one... we can't take him on."
"Hey, now don't go all coward on me now Miranda, we have to do this."
Miranda sighed a bit loudly, almost disturbing the sleeping girl next to her. "Listen Bailey, you know something will go wrong if we face the Demon Lord of Fire..." She mummbled the rest into the earpeice.
With a heavy sigh Bailey agreed "Alright, we retreat back but keep track of the infantry alright?"
"Perfect."
Bailey looked at the ashes of the fallen vampires the went back to her where her sisters were. "Winter is still asleep?" Se asked growling a bit "She's not allowed to laze it out while we are working."
"Just let her sleep while we are talking ok?"
"Fine"
The sounds of fire and screams filled the air around him causing him to smiled and laugh. The poor Vampire Village didn't expect it, they didn't expect his soldiers to go into their peaceful village and take it out. Too bad, they did. He relished the scared faces of those on the street who said his title. The Demon Lord of Fire, and he was in this world to take the claim to the land before any of the others.
"Lord." A soldier with red and green eyes went up to him.
"Yes Voras?" The Demon Lord asked looking at his underling.
"Was the burning of the village necessary?"
A flare of anger flash through his eyes "Of course it was! Are you questioning me?"
"O-of course not Lord Ignis."
"Good now get!"
Voras went away from Ignis and his fury.

You would think it was so easy. Leaving her past, her life, actually it was taken. But she got little to nothing back as she was taken by them. The demons, they controlled ice. She could remember the moment always. She closed her eyes, allowing her red skirt and gray shirt to move in the wind, her silver hair too.
The day the demons came, it changed her life forever.
She was in her house, with her parents and older siblings. They were smiling and laughing, until the house got cold. It was covered in ice. The demons were approaching, it was time to take action. Her mother and father ran outside, making her and her siblings hide.
But as she begun to hide, they had no idea demons were inside the house.
Her yellow and blue-green eye watched the demon before her, she was frightened to say the least, but soon it didn’t matter as she blacked out. When she woke up she was before other demons in what looked like a throne room. She was held in the arms of the demon who took her and looked up staring the leader in the face.
“She’s perfect.” The demon lord said with a smile.
After that day, Locket was never the same. She was trained at 8 years old, soon her eye was covered by an eye patch, she didn’t want people seeing her as the freak she was, or the killer she was. But it never mattered, not now.
‘Kill them….that’s an order.’ She remembered the Demon Ice Lord saying.
Locket stood, currently, on a mountain in Vampire territory. She looked over all the land while the words repeated in her head. ‘Kill them…kill them.’
Children, adults, everyone, the leader wanted them all dead. But why? She shook her head, she would never know.
She grasped the sword in her hand tightly gulping. Never before was she made to take so many lives. But now she had to. She had no choice.
They stick together no matter what, raised together, brother and sisters. The youngest, the most quiet and innocent of them all was usually the weakest. Her brother would never let anything happened to her, after she saw what she did. Her parent’s bodies fall to the floor. What a horrible sight for a child, one she will never forget. Three of them, a boy with dark blue hair and blue eyes, a twin sister with blonde hair and green eyes and a younger sister, the outcast, had wolf ears, blonde like her hair and blue eyes.
The boy wore a white shirt with a blue jacket over it and white pants with black shoes. The green eyed girl, her blonde hair in pigtails wore a stripped tank top with a stripped miniskirt and flat ballroom shoes it looked. And the wolf eared one, wore a black and white Lolita dress, white stockings and black dance shoes with little heels.
Where are they? Walking, in a forest. Outside of werewolf territory and almost heading into vampire territory, but they needed to stop, mainly the boy. He thought they should eat.
He looked over at his sisters. “I will start a fire, you two catch some fish.” He rubbed sticks together, creating a spark soon enough, lighting the sticks on fire.
He smiled and stayed by it, it was warm and outside it was partly cold.
The two sisters walked to a lake. The younger one, with blue eyes and wolf ears, stared into the lake.
“Catch a fish Juliet.” Her older sister Journey said. She smiled at her. “Use your powers.” Journey demonstrated and used her powers of pure light to go into the water, it captured a fish’s attention and drew him closer, then Journey leaned over the side and grabbed him and threw him on the ground, she looked up at Juliet who watched her sister with wonder. “See? Its easy sis. Try it.”
Juliet didn’t want to, why harm something? But they needed to eat. So, she did what she had to. Palm facing the lake, slowly it froze up from underneath making many fish splash on the now frozen lake.
“See, you did great!” Journey jumped up and hugged Juliet who just smiled a bit. “Now do me a favor and kill them all.”
‘Kill them all..’ Those words rung in her head, like the time her parents were killed. ‘Kill them all! Kill them all!’
She couldn’t take it, her mind bobbing back and forth with the subject made her powers go on a frenzy, without her knowledge, ice spikes struck up everywhere, killing all the fish.
“Juliet is ok calm down..” Journey held her tightly and kissed her head. “I’m sorry, its ok now alright? Its ok…” She looked at all the fish, Juliet, whose head was in her hands hiding the sight at first looked. Juliet’s eyes went wide.
“Juliet go back to Dason, I’ll get the fish.” Juliet nodded and ran back, she went and sat by the fire as she got there, it flickered and crackling from it sounded in her ears. “Did you get fish?” Dason asked her and she nodded.
“Good..” Journey came back moments later holding over 4 fish. “We’re going to have tons of left-overs, there are still tons of fish dead by the lake.”
*How….did I become? How….* The beach, the waves crashed onto it as she stared blankly as it. *Did I get here?* Her hair, long and white, blew in the wind. Her eyes blue staring at the water. The wind, moved her dress to, it was partly short but had a cloak part in the back. The sides of the dress, was covered in blue roses. Why was it so peaceful here and not there? She thought, her questions couldn’t be answered though. She had no shoes on and was standing on the hot sand but she didn’t feel the pain, she had no idea what it was.
She soon turned getting off the sand, what was her purpose in life? She started walking around, she was in the elf territory but didn’t know fights were happening just outside it. She had no clue about anything, she was broken minded, a doll with no past, no memory and possibly no future. She walked until she reached a forest. What was inside? The blank expression on her face never changed, she just looked at everything for a few moments then touched a tree, what a weird thing this was. Her hand, she could feel things? She could feel the rough surface and the chips of the bark. This was all new to her, all strange. She looked down deep in the forest, it looked black and dark, she took a slow step and started walking. Not sure where she was heading.
The day the demons came, it changed her life forever.
She was in her house, with her parents and older siblings. They were smiling and laughing, until the house got cold. It was covered in ice. The demons were approaching, it was time to take action. Her mother and father ran outside, making her and her siblings hide.
But as she begun to hide, they had no idea demons were inside the house.
Her yellow and blue-green eye watched the demon before her, she was frightened to say the least, but soon it didn’t matter as she blacked out. When she woke up she was before other demons in what looked like a throne room. She was held in the arms of the demon who took her and looked up staring the leader in the face.
“She’s perfect.” The demon lord said with a smile.
After that day, Locket was never the same. She was trained at 8 years old, soon her eye was covered by an eye patch, she didn’t want people seeing her as the freak she was, or the killer she was. But it never mattered, not now.
‘Kill them….that’s an order.’ She remembered the Demon Ice Lord saying.
Locket stood, currently, on a mountain in Vampire territory. She looked over all the land while the words repeated in her head. ‘Kill them…kill them.’
Children, adults, everyone, the leader wanted them all dead. But why? She shook her head, she would never know.
She grasped the sword in her hand tightly gulping. Never before was she made to take so many lives. But now she had to. She had no choice.
They stick together no matter what, raised together, brother and sisters. The youngest, the most quiet and innocent of them all was usually the weakest. Her brother would never let anything happened to her, after she saw what she did. Her parent’s bodies fall to the floor. What a horrible sight for a child, one she will never forget. Three of them, a boy with dark blue hair and blue eyes, a twin sister with blonde hair and green eyes and a younger sister, the outcast, had wolf ears, blonde like her hair and blue eyes.

It was a silly thing really...He stared down at the fairly raw steak in front of him and sighed. He felt like fish tonight. Rai wasn't one to complain. If he did he would get his way, he was the Demon Lord of Thunder after all. He was treated something like dirt by Fire Demons because he refused to flout the position of power he had. One hand was grasping his fork which was lazily playing with the potato also on the plate. The other hand was grasping his Katana, the one possession he truly treasured. Rai stood up and sighed more audibly. A servant who had been watching him gave a little bow
"Yes M'Lord?"
"I'm going out" Rai said fastening his blade to his waist
"But M'Lord...Ignis...he is-"
"I know full well what he is up to, and I much care...I'm going out"
There was a crash of Lightning which echoed around the room and a whip of Red hair, and he was gone
"Come on Sis! Nearly there!" the boy chuckled
"But I'm hungry now!" The girl clinging onto him moaned softly
The boy dropped his head a fraction
"If you're suffering that much then drink from me until we can find someone proper to drink from"
The girl sighed a little
"I wish we had a blood slave..."
"We're not Vampire Elite...and blood slaves are cruel, we take as much blood to get us by and no more...you know that...now drink if you need to"
The girl let out another exasperated sigh and gently sunk her fangs into the exposed neck of her brother as he carried her along
A girl with incredibly long blonde hair walked up beside the steed upon which Ignis was sat. Her hair fluttered gently in the wind and tangled around the wings which expanded from her shoulders. She looked up at Ignis with reverence. Any one who knew her knew she worshipped him like a God
"My Lord..." she started gently. Her voice was low and soft, but carried a deep malice and strength in it nonetheless
"My Lord...why do you keep Voras around? He is powerful yes...but I can do the job of a hundred...a thousand of your Soldiers, and I'd enjoy it more! Voras questions you...but I...I serve you with all my power no matter what the command! I would slaughter every Vampire in existence if you so much as thought to command me My Lord..." her voice trailed off as a figure stirred in the shadows. A Vampire leapt out, roaring in rage, aiming for Ignis. With one swoop, a great scythe had appeared in Vera's hand and sliced the Vampire's head clean off. The head cartwheeled onto the ground, splattering Vera with blood as she smirked

Quentin crossed his arms and sighed as Layton ran around him in circles "Can you just stop?" Layton sunk down a bit, whimpering "But...Quentin...Kalista said you had to stop being mean to me..." He looked down, trying to avoid Quentin's glare.
"And I don't care if she told me or not...I mean really Layton, do you think I'm going to listen to her? She's just a stupid-" Layton glared at him a bit, and turned around to face his brother "Don't call her stupid, Quentin!"
Mark grinned as another vampire fell; a shot in the head was really all it took, maybe two, depending on the vampire. The creatures royally pissed him off, really...taking his little sister away from him like that...but it'd be better soon. He'd find her, then the antidote, then...then they could be a family again. That is...if the antidote really existed..but the woman said it did, so..it had to, right?
Alice sighed and kept walking. The sound of gunshots rang through the air; her brother was obviously near her. Her stupid older brother who was killing her family, her friends...all because she was a victim in his eyes. Useless slaughter, all because she was a vampire...all because she wanted something he didn't. He really did irritate her sometimes.

"Fear Vera, I keep Voras for fear." He said as blood spatter landed on his horse with an unnaturally red coat and fire on its hooves. "He has a great ability, spiders are a manifestation of fear itself and could stop an entire army if it's big enough. That's one reason why i keep him around, but if he keeps doubting our purpose I might just give you an order for his execution." He jumped down from his horse and walked around the burning village. A vampire fell out of a building on fire and screaming right in front of him. "Ugh, you creatures are pathetic none of you can ever stand the heat." He pointed his palm at it and released a torrent of fire turning the poor thing to ashes immediately. "Hmph. Vera, I need the map."
"Bailey, we staying here?" Miranda asked turning and looking at her.
"No, mark your map for a spot 6 miles north of here and a half a mile west." She said packing up her tent then moving onto Winter's tent. She didn't like the point that their younger sister was sleeping the day away while they were doing all the work for their kind, but everytime she told Miranda it would be blown off. "Wake winter up here in five minutes, she's at least carrying her own bag."
"Alright." Miranda said turning on her map. The map was a little spherical device that created a hologram in front of her, the hologram was a map of the known world, so far that would be the continent they were on and the islands, but that was only because that the current land was always too busy struggling to explore the world. She place her finger on the spot that needed to be marked. "Alright its marked." She turned off the map and placed it in her pocket then got up packing up her supplies. "When do you think the war will end Sis?" She asked while stuffing her tent into her bag.
"As it looks now? Not till the Demons take over, but our war? The human war? It's never over, we've been on the verge of extinction for two hundred years because of those accursed Vampires. And now there are the Demons, that makes our situation worse."
Haruko jumped off his horse once they were at the camp. It was a huge camp, with tent's pitched all over the place for the 500 soldiers that were part of this infantry. Although as it looks more soldiers will be needed against the Demon Lord if he comes their way. Haruko hoped that didn't happen.
"Report to the general," Haruko said "I'm going to rest it's been a long day."
The Knight nodded and followed his orders as Haruko went to his tent, it wasn't the largest but it was comfy for him. He laid down, the images of his fellow soldiers burnt to a crisp in the battle field haunting him.
"Bailey, we staying here?" Miranda asked turning and looking at her.

Locket bent down for a moment, she sniffed the air, something was wrong. The wind was hotter and she could hear screams from far away. *What?* Her eyes went a bit wide seeing smoke. She jumped up standing on the mountain still looking down at the vampire village that was burning. She shook her head, whether she had to kill them or not she honestly didn't want to see them dying or hurt, a life was a life and precious.
Locket took a deep breathe in holding her sword, she stepped a few paces backwards then ran forward jumping off the mountain. Her hair flew all around and her skirt lifted up as she was practically flying in the air. Then *crash* her silver boots hit the ground hard, it hurt her legs alot but she healed almost naturally. She saw the smoke getting heavier and could even see the fire. Without another thought she took off running to it.
Juliet's ears went up, she could hear something from far away but didn't know what it was.
Journey sat watching her sister look around with worried eyes. "Juliet whats wrong?" She asked throwing her fish down and getting to her little sister's side, Dason stopped eating to listen.
Juliet turned to Journey, her blue eyes filled with fear. "Coming.."
"Coming?" Journey looked at Dason. "Whose coming Juliet?!" She asked looking back at her, this made Dasons stand up.
Juliet could hear movement and sound. "Thats it we're going!" Dason got up and backed up what they had, including the fish and carried it. He grabbed Juliet's hand and started running. "Journey hurry!"
She followed, her eyes watching the trees as they ran. They were heading too the sound though, Juliet couldn't force her brother to stop.
They kept running until Dason saw Miranda and Bailey. *Wh-* He ran right into a tree and fell back. Juliet jumped back seeing her brother on the ground and stood there helpless with her hands over her mouth.
Journey ran to him. "Dason!" She shouted and bent down pulling him up. "You ok?"
He rubbed his head, it hurt so much now, even for a vampire and werewolf it hurt. "Yeah...I think."
Broken Doll looked around, the elf forest, it was beautiful, she was alone in it and she could hear the birds singing and see the butterflies. Her gorgeous hair kept blowing in the wind, yet she smiled at nothing. She walked over to a pond and stared at it. She could see her reflection, she walked around it, staring at herself then sat down by it gently putting her finger in it. She had no idea it was water, or what water was. She moved her finger around it in, watching it blur her reflection. She never realized she looked like this.

Vera followed closely behind Ignis as he moved. She remained a few paces behind him and slightly to the side. At the word 'Execution' Vera let slip at sadistic, longing smile
"I do hope you'll let me kill that vermin...I never like spiders" she said pushing back her hair
As she watched Ignis burn the Vampire, a wider smile crossed her face and she let out a mirthless laugh
"I'v never known such pathetic creatures in all my years. It's always enjoyable to watch them burn at our hands" she looked around, her eyes searching the place for any more Vampires to make suffer for the pleasure of her Lord
As she said this, she gave a strange wave with her hand and a rolled up scroll appeared in her hand. She got to her knees and bowed her head, holding the map up and out to Ignis
"Your map, my Lord"
Ramona clung onto Anthony's back as his neck dripped a little blood. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a vial containing a strange liquid. She dabbed her two fingers with some and gently pressed them against her brother's neck where she had bitten him. Smoke billowed from the two spots for a few seconds and when she removed her fingers the bleeding had stopped
"Thanks Sis" Anthony said cheerfully as he carried on walking, speeding up a little
"I don't know why you're so cheery...I just drank your blood..."
"You're my sister, so long as you're happy...I am..."
Anthony grinned for a moment then stopped
"What's..."
But Anthony let out a low 'shhh' and she stopped immediately
He walked a little further and hid behind a large tree, which itself was obscured with some overgrown bushes. He saw six people, 5 of whom were girls
"3 Humans by the looks of it...and Vampire and Werewolf blood mixed among the other three...They might be friendly...on the other hand..."
"Let's sit back and watch then" Anthony said to Ramona as she quietly climbed down from him. They stood side by side, hidden mostly by the tree and watched Bailey, Miranda, Winter, Dason, Journey and Juliet
Mere seconds after he had left the room, Rai materialised at a lake. He walked a few feet to its bank and gently knelt down, gazing into the reflective surface. He placed his fingers lightly into the water, not even looking at his reflection. Some kind of pulse emitted from the tips. Rai withdrew them moments later, and looked around curiously
"Odd...no fish...this lake is usually full of brilliant and delicious varieties..."
Pondering this for a moment, Rai sniffed a little
"Smoke...someone's been here...but all the fish?"
He closed his eyes, letting the sound of the birds fill his ears and looked up. He could see thinning smoke issuing from a town some distance away. No doubt one of the Fire Lord's recent massacres...there might still even be survivors...He knew he would be considered a traitor to help any Vampire, but if they were a child...
Rai stood up again and in a second echo of Thunder and a whip of red hair, he was standing ten feet from Ignis and Vera
"I do hope you'll let me kill that vermin...I never like spiders" she said pushing back her hair
As she watched Ignis burn the Vampire, a wider smile crossed her face and she let out a mirthless laugh
"I'v never known such pathetic creatures in all my years. It's always enjoyable to watch them burn at our hands" she looked around, her eyes searching the place for any more Vampires to make suffer for the pleasure of her Lord
As she said this, she gave a strange wave with her hand and a rolled up scroll appeared in her hand. She got to her knees and bowed her head, holding the map up and out to Ignis
"Your map, my Lord"
Ramona clung onto Anthony's back as his neck dripped a little blood. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a vial containing a strange liquid. She dabbed her two fingers with some and gently pressed them against her brother's neck where she had bitten him. Smoke billowed from the two spots for a few seconds and when she removed her fingers the bleeding had stopped
"Thanks Sis" Anthony said cheerfully as he carried on walking, speeding up a little
"I don't know why you're so cheery...I just drank your blood..."
"You're my sister, so long as you're happy...I am..."
Anthony grinned for a moment then stopped
"What's..."
But Anthony let out a low 'shhh' and she stopped immediately
He walked a little further and hid behind a large tree, which itself was obscured with some overgrown bushes. He saw six people, 5 of whom were girls
"3 Humans by the looks of it...and Vampire and Werewolf blood mixed among the other three...They might be friendly...on the other hand..."
"Let's sit back and watch then" Anthony said to Ramona as she quietly climbed down from him. They stood side by side, hidden mostly by the tree and watched Bailey, Miranda, Winter, Dason, Journey and Juliet
Mere seconds after he had left the room, Rai materialised at a lake. He walked a few feet to its bank and gently knelt down, gazing into the reflective surface. He placed his fingers lightly into the water, not even looking at his reflection. Some kind of pulse emitted from the tips. Rai withdrew them moments later, and looked around curiously
"Odd...no fish...this lake is usually full of brilliant and delicious varieties..."
Pondering this for a moment, Rai sniffed a little
"Smoke...someone's been here...but all the fish?"
He closed his eyes, letting the sound of the birds fill his ears and looked up. He could see thinning smoke issuing from a town some distance away. No doubt one of the Fire Lord's recent massacres...there might still even be survivors...He knew he would be considered a traitor to help any Vampire, but if they were a child...
Rai stood up again and in a second echo of Thunder and a whip of red hair, he was standing ten feet from Ignis and Vera

Ignis took the map from Vera. "Thank you Vera," He said then commented on her want to kill Voras, "Don't worry it might happen soon." He was looking at Rai as he said that. He had made the same old entrance as always. "Well well well if it isn't the weakest Demon Lord of all of us. "He said with slight malice. "What are you doing here? Wanna give me a lecture, if so im not listening." Ignis saw Voras out of the corner of his eye holding a vampire kid, the kid was no more than eight. "Voras! Kill that kid."
"B-but Lord Ignis he's only eight!" Voras said holding the unconscious kid close.
"I don't care, do it."
"No! I will not do it!"
"You dare defy me? Huh, Vera looks like you get a chance sooner than you thought. Kill him, and the kid."
Winter was having a nightmare while Bailey and Miranda were packing up. It was nothing but a nightmare though. A mysterious shadow was attacking her village, killing everyone including Miranda and Bailey but it had spared her for some reason. It started to stare at her with glowing red eyes... Winter woke up with a jump and was gasping her heart rate high. She looked at Miranda and Bailey for a second, they seemed tense and they had stopped packing.
"Miranda, check the map, are there any people near us?"
Miranda turned on her map and saw five red dots. "In front of us there is three people and to the left of us there are two people hiding in the trees." She whispered low.
"You take the two Ill see the three."
Miranda nodded and disappeared and so did bailey leaving Winter alone.
"Guys?" Winter said looking around with her piercing blue eyes.
Miranda appeared behind Ramona and Anthony holding two UV guns at their heads. "Don't Move." She said.
Bailey appeared behind Journey Dason and Juliet holding her sword to Juliets neck. "No body move."
"B-but Lord Ignis he's only eight!" Voras said holding the unconscious kid close.
"I don't care, do it."
"No! I will not do it!"

Juliet's ears twitched, she heard Bailey coming but couldn't move once the sword was to her throat. She gulped a bit and her eyes stared shakily at the sword then at Bailey. Dason's calmedwolf ears, that usually laid under his hair so no one saw them, stood up. He turned to face Bailey and growled. Journey was still holding him up and she looked at Bailey too.
"What?!" Journey growled. "We're not gonna hurt anybody so take that sword away from my sister!" She showed her vampire fangs and soon so did Dason as they growled. "If you hurt her I'll tear you to pieces."
Neither moved though.
(I can't decide who Locket and Broken should meet up with////lazy and confusedXD)

Quentin glared at him, and sighed "Whatever....but I ain't listening to her when she's not here, got that?" Layton looked down, and nodded. He hated when Quentin acted like this, but....it was just too much to argue with him. Too hard..too tiresome and too painful as well. "Okay..just...don't call her stupid again, okay?"

"Good luck, I've killed five hundred vampires on my own, I can easily take out a couple of half breeds." Bailey kept the sword at Juliet's neck. "Walk over to the stump and sit on it, now or she dies." She said threatening and leading Juliet over to the stumb but kept the sword at her neck. "I don't have all day."
"Sis?" Winter looked at the person she was holding ransom. "Whats going on."
"Nothing winter, you should have stayed asleep."

Journey growled, this girl was bad news, she saw Winter coming before she actually did. *Great...* She looked at Juliet. "Juliet the same thing you did with the fish! Kill them!"
Juliet could feel the sword on her neck, like it could and would pierce her neck and kill her at any moment. She held her head for a moment and her eyes glowed, ice started forming under Bailey's feet and shards and spikes came up to separate them. Juliet pulled away holding her head crying again.
"Good job!" Dason got up and grabbed Bailey's arms from behind and opened his mouth to show his fangs.
Journey got out a dagger and held it to Winter's neck.

Bailey's eyes widened and she jumped back from the ice before it could even get close to her. *Powerful half breed...* Before she could recover, Dason was holding her still with his fangs out making her nervous, She had never been in a situation in which she wasn't in control. "I.. Uh... Winter...?"
Winter looked at the Dagger scared. "Please don't hurt me or my sister... we didn't mean no harm we just thought you would hurt us..."

Dason looked at them for a bit and sniffed them, then put down his ears. "Release her Journey they're telling the truth. As long as you don't attack us, we won't attack you." He let go of Bailey. "Never touch my sister again, she's been through too much pain already." He walked over to Juliet and kneed, she was crying so she wrapped his arms around her. "Its fine, they won't hurt you." She sniffled and looked up at him, when he smiled and nodded she sort of did too.
Journey put the dagger down. "Well what are you two doing out here anyway?" She asked putting the dagger away.

"Three actually, My other sister is over where she saw the other people." Bailey thought for a second. "We are an advanced team of humans dispatched to take out Demons and Vampires, well... Me and my other sister are, Winter ran away and followed us."

Sullivan laid against the trunk of a bare tree as spots of light passed by touching his skin warming his skin. His thoughts wondered as he closed his eyes. Flashes of battles full of blood and misery went through his mind reminding him of the night he murdered his mother all the way to his last victim.
Mosey walked through the dead brush searching as the heat of the sun burned down on him. He loved the shadows and the coldness not this heat and bright sun. As he came around the corner of a trunk he found his loyal lap dog who he controlled. "Sullivan let's go it's time for us to return to the battle." Mosey spoke to him as his eyes glowed a bright purple color that controlled Sullivan.
Areo walked the camp examining it and it's soldiers. He spotted Haruko and could see feel the pain he felt as he had found his comrades. Areo had many emotions going through his head as he passed many people but the one of his prince remained as it was very strong. As he came to his tent he laid his things to the ground and found his way to the bed relaxing as he waited.At this point that was all he could do was wait.

Rai's face didn't move at all from the slight scowl it had been when he had seen Ignis. He had thought the place might be deserted by now, clearly he was wrong...
"The weakest Demon Lord? Really Ignis? Is that the best insult you can come up with?" He asked rolling his eyes slightly. He knew it not wise to provoke him, in a one on one fight it was likely he would be outmatched. When Ignis gave the order for Vera to kill Voras and the child, Rai's scowl became far more pronounced
"Killing a child Ignis? You're even more pathetic than I thought...if she wants Voras that's not my business, but if you try to kill the kid Vera, then you have to come through me first"
Vera's face twitched slightly when Rai appeared, but she did not flinch. She hated Rai...if he was not a Demon Lord she would have killed him already for daring to interfere. She stood back up once Ignis had taken the map and stood deathly silent by his side. Her face contorted with rage when Rai insulted her master, but broke into a smirk like no one might ever have seen before when he ordered her to kill Voras.

There was a darkness in Ramona's voice that was not usually present

He watched her hold guns to their heads. Would she try killing them? Perhaps...he could smell malice on the air. He looked at his hands for a moment. Would he try killing her if she did? Two lives versus one...but they were all lives nevertheless...Perhaps if he tried talking to her...but then she might go after him...but that would give the other two a chance to escape...Or would they try and fight her?
Hale let out a soft sigh and carried on watching from behind the tree, not quite knowing what to do

Journey walked over and sat down on a stumo by them. "My name is Journey and listen to me when I tell you that we've been through hell and back. Our parents died when me and Dason were gone, leaving Juliet to watch it and trust me, we will kill ANYONE who tries to attack us. We clear?"

"Its true Dason, you want them messing with us? I wish we could get along but I don't get along with people who try to kill my family or race."

"You are half breeds" Bailey said putting her sword away, "I have nothing against outcasts. And have you looked around lately? Vampires and Demons are destroying the land, and Vampires are enslaving my kind now tell me that my mission isn't justified oh and its only the armies I dont kill citizens or children." She finished packing her bag and pulled it onto her shoulder. "Winter pick up your bag we need to move."
Winter had a blank look on her face looking at Dason.
"Winter? Snap out of it."
She looked at Bailey and her eyes cleared. "Oh..uh sorry I was spacing out."
"Obviously, pick up your supplies and wait for Miranda to get here, we need to get behind the infantry."
Miranda kept it to their heads, "Just slowly stand up and walk into the clearing, if you attack i will Kill you and if you try to escape the same will happen." Miranda's voice was a bit threatening but they probably didnt know why, she had to take precautions, they could be scouts for the army, she didn't know that's why she was doing this.
"No." Ignis said "You know that he is too much for you, let me get him, take care of Voras and that kid." He drew his angelic blade, it should have been enough to burn him but he was too strong to be hurt by just simply touching the handle of the blade, this let him wield the sword without consequence. "Rai, you do not mess with my armies or me, got it? We kill all Vampires. Do not interfere"
