When Angels Fall

21st of July 2017: All seems well in the American coastal town of Verdana. Sunny shores and a beautiful, uninterrupted Summer Solstice. That is until the sky goes dark. No one knows what exactly is happening. People gather in the streets and stare at the dark sky that appeared out of nowhere. And then it happens. Not just here, but all around the world. Figures fall to the ground. They hit the Earth with a bone-shattering smash. People go to investigate the fallen. They all match the same description; Large, white wings, perfectly white robes...and a halo

That day would forever come to be known as the day 'When Angel's Fall'

Days later the Angels begin to integrate themselves into society. Their halos have fallen off and their wings have become greyish. Most people accept the Angels, some question them, and others fear them. For the moment however, it seems they are here to stay...


Races

Humans: Bog standard humans. Nothing special about them unless they've learned it like swordplay or gunmanship. Some Humans help the Angels, others are indifferent, some however might seek to hurt or kill Angels. Some humans might have unique or special abilities, but it is rare

Fallen Angel: A Fallen Angel is a remanent of their previous self. Their powers are slightly diminshed as is their Holy Aura. Their wings are crumpled and greyish, but usable. They have magic that lets them use elements and fight well. Those who can read Auras can recognise them from regular humans. The Angels have started a new life, though none can remember what caused the fall. They can live their life and try to be Holy or be a sinner, find love or live in isolation, it doesn't seem to matter, but if the day comes and they are judged, it just might...

Hunter Demon: A specialised Demon raised specifically for Hunting down prey, especially Angels. With so many fallen Angels around, there has been a marked increase in attacks. They have the ability to read Aura's so can recognise Fallen Angels. They are experts with weapons, and can also use Magic, but are less adept at it than Angels are

Bio: Juliet is 17 and looks 17 as an angel because just a few weeks ago she was murdered by kids when walking home from school, her older sister Journey heard her screaming from school but when she got there it was too late, her sister forgot to breathe, her heart refused to beat and one love was incomplete. Journey was devastated and never forgot, she soon found out the killers were demons and therefore would never rest until they died like they killed her sister. Soon however, when the angels fell Journey saw her sister fall from the sky and land outside her house, she was alive again. Juliet however, looking like a full human now, still has the burned and ruins angel wings upon her back and her halo is broken too. She was happy to see Journey again but she seemed different, and Journey thinks it’s the demons, she won’t rest until they are dead. Juliet has wolf ears instead of human and that’s why Journey thinks she was killed, she was always different and no one around liked her, or different. She is convinced that Bailey is one of the people who killed her sister.

Bio:Sullivan was killed while serving for the north. He was proud to honor them and become the youngest general of all time but during an ambush on the South that they had planned went terribly wrong. As they approached they were all murdered except for Sullivan who was revealed to be actually a Confederates that had deceived his troops with out feeling a single thing. Later as they were close too victory Sullivan was captured and executed for his actions against the Yankee's. and now he has fallen back to the world he thought he knew but things have changed and hopefully so has he.

Abilities: Aria has a wonderful way of tricking people, when she sings, the sound of her voice puts people under her control for a short time, only about two minutes, but its enough time to do things. The longer she sings, the longer the control is.
Weapon(s): Her voice and she likes to carry sharp objects.
Bio: Aria is the Demon leader's child. She is extremely smart and for some reason is mostly human compared to her father. She doesn't know her mother. She has siblings though.(*Cough* Avery, George, Soul, someone want to be her sibling? I think Anthony controls her dad or do I?XD Anyway...) Aria is a sweet heart to her father and very evil to others, she likes to control people and was one of the people who contributed to the fall of the angels. Since she is called an 'Angel' by people, mostly her dad, she hates that there are a things called 'Angels' and she thinks she should be the only 'Angel' around. She wants them all dead infront of her. She has LONG red hair and blue eyes. Aria seems like a sweetheart but has a dreadful past where she doesn't even believe her father is her real father, but she calls him 'Daddy' all the time, or 'Abba' which is 'Daddy' in greek.
Also little fairies, guardian fairies, shaped and looking like butterflies surround her as she walks, they disappear at times though and change color and glow. They constantly tell Angel when she is in trouble or someone/something is following her.
Aria wears a pink and black dress that has an angel's wing outlines on the side. She wears black stockings and pink shoes.
Aria for now doesn't believe in anything, not ghosts, not death and not love. It might be changed though as she has seen death before but wasn't sure what it even was.

Although his powers are only minor, Rai is an expert with his Katana and at martial arts, so is more than capable of defending himself if need be

'Dear Father...'
She looked around at the broken valleys, the beautiful winged creatures falling from the sky, her blue eyes rested on them and her red hair moved about behind her shoulders.
'I see them....'
She smiled a bit, her work, what she wanted to do is half done, the angels fell from heaven, now all she had to do was kill them.
She looked back, she was standing by her father as they looked down the valleys from the mountain they stood on. Aria looked up at her dad. "Daddy, look at them, they fell, like I wanted, like I dreamed." She gave a sweet smile but to others it would look twisted. "I want them all dead."

(I'll just start with her first, too lazy to put in J and J right now.)

Zarathustra looked down at his beautiful daughter. She was the proverbial apple of his eye. He gently placed his hand on her shoulder as he watched the Angels fall all over the world
"Indeed my dear"
He spoke gently and fatherly to her and her alone
"And they all shall die. I will have my Hunters set on them, and no doubt you shall be brilliant at slaying them when you so desire"
"Malachi" he said, addressing the man kneeling on one foot a few metres behind them, but without looking at him
"Yes my Lord?" he responded, also without looking at the King
"Send the order to the Hunter Demon's. They are to begin the slaughter of the Angel's post haste. Warn them though, if they dare interfere with a kill Aria wishes to make, they shall face more than just her fury..."
"Yes my Lord" he said softly, and vanished
"Soon Aria, soon this world will be yours, and so will be everything in it. All for you"

Aria smiled nodding at her father's words. "Thank you dear Daddy, everything in this world will be under my reign once those dreaded angels are dead." She looked at him and hugged him for a moment. "I love you Daddy, you make all my dreams come true."
For a moment in her mind, she saw fire, then it stopped as she finished speaking. She looked all around, the skies predicting rain, the clouds rolled it darkly as the last angels fell onto the earth.
Aria looked up at her father, her eyes blue and warming, staring into his. "Can you carry me on your back and walk me through the town? I want to see all the fallen angels and pick out the ones I want to kill myself."

He hugged Aria as she hugged him. Nothing made him happy like seeing her smile
"I love you too my baby girl. Now let's go"
He got down on his knees so she could climb up onto his back
"Make sure you pick a strong looking one to prove just how superior you are to those filth" he chuckled
"How many do you feel like killing today? Ten? Twenty? Of course you must pace yourself, you don't want them all to die too quickly, that would just be no fun"
He relished father-daughter time with her. She was the only thing in this world to make it worth not destroying it

"I want to kill many..." She smiled getting on his back having him carry her now. She probably the only being in the world she felt something for. She would put fire to the whole world if her father asked her too, he was there for her through all and saved her life, gave her life.
She recongized that. She gently put her arms around his neck holding onto him.
"The demons that I made to help this happen told me there were many many angels up there, too many to kill in one day, I want to kill fifthteen of them today, exactly that number. And yes Daddy I will, I'll destroy all the tough ones and maybe some weak ones today just to hear them scream and beg for mercy from me."
She smirked with her evil looking sharp teeth, the little crown on her head was tipped but stayed in place. "I want to see fear in their eyes...then I'll give them a new life."

"Hmmm, perhaps we might even find a few who would make good Demon's with a little persuasion. Only strong ones though. We have no time for weaklings Aria, you know that by now as well as I"
He lifted himself up with Aria on his back, holding her gently but firmly in place
"We shall make them beg for mercy, fill them with terror. They shall remember your name for the last moments of their lives"

In an instant they had teleported to the town in the valley below the Mountain they had been on. Angels were littered everywhere. Some Humans had come out to help some, others had left the place where they had fallen already. Some were sitting where they had fallen, not quite knowing what had happened or what to do with themselves
A nearby Fallen Angel looked up at Zarathustra and Aria as they appeared, his eyes widening
"The...the...THE DEMON LORD AND THE DEVILSPAWN!!!" he screamed, scrambling to his feet. All around them, the Angels who had heard began to run for their lives, whilst the Humans within Earshot just looked confused
"Now that's not a nice name for my beautiful princess" he growled, holding out his palm and sending a ball of energy which caused the Angel that noticed them to vaporise with a horrific scream of pain

"Yes Daddy, I know but I want to play with them, they are my toys given to me by the white sky. I want to hurt them Daddy, all of them, make all of them scream." Aria looked around holding onto her father, she watched the angels start running as they walked calmly down the street, then she heard the outburst of the one angel.
"Haters...all haters." She smiled and watched as her father destroyed it, and when the screams of the angel arose across the ground, it filled her head and heart, filling it with joy.
"Let me sing for them father...Let them know whose boss." She looked around, two angels were by them and she decided to play with them.
'Oh angels who fell from the heav-ens, let me take those wings from you and be your guide now.' She started getting a bit high pitched and thats when the Angel's stared at her, but not in a rude way, they were being controlled by her. 'Get up and get out! Show me your worst, living in the world I own, please angels, show me your wings! Fill up the sky with your sor-rows, show me the blood and death of you...'
She kept the last note going and as she did the two angels, who were friends fought to the end and ended up stabbing eachother in the chest, soon both fell dead on the ground.

As Aria sung her song, Zarathustra quietly hummed along. To others the song may have been painful or dreadful, but to him it was like a quiet lullaby, and nothing less than beautiful
"Well done my dear, what a beautiful song of destruction you can sing!" he laughed merrily
He stepped on their bodies and carried on walking through the town. Many of the Angels had hidden themselves as the others had spread the word that he and Aria were there
"Now now...this won't do at all...why don't you lure them out with another wonderful song of yours?"

Aria giggled a bit. "Thank you daddy." She smiled as they strolled along, she loved how her father enjoyed her lyrics and inside the song and her thoughts all pretained to who was controlled by her, she could control anyone she wanted, possibly even her father, but she loved him too much to ever do that.
She looked around, the angels were hiding. "I will abba, I'll lore them out and we can let them squirm." She giggled a bit more then sang out, making any of the hiding angels come out of their spots, she let the lyrics fill the air for a few minutes granting her a few minutes to really control them, but she would wait on her father's orders, did he want to kill them all now or no?

He looked around the Angels that had come out briefly. None of these would make good candidates for Demons, so they could be disposed of, if Aria wished to of course
"They are all of no use to me. Feel free to kill any of them you like Aria" he smiled
"You could kill 13 more if you wanted, or go crazy and kill them all now if you wanted" he laughed
"So long as my baby is happy, I'm happy"

Around the nearby corner, a Human with red hair and sharp green eyes was watching the father and daughter talk about slaying the Angels as though it was casual. He knew he was too weak to take on either, let alone both, but he couldn't just let all these Angels die like that...he had to do something...

When the angels fell near Remedy's neighboorhood, her parents were getting on back up to health. REmedy was helping of course but not much. Then two people appeared holding their swords tightly in their hand.
"Step away from the angel or you will be killed." They said in unison.
"No. You won't hurt this being."
"You were warned." The guy and the girl put the hilts of their swords together and it started spinning with them in a tornado of light and darkness. "DIE!" The tornado went vertical and went right at remedy's father, it sliced him in half with no trouble, it turned at went for the mother killing her. Then they turned to the angel.
The Angel looked at them for a second and turned into a ball of light disappearing with Remedy.

"No Daddy...I'm fine actually..I want to walk around for a bit if thats ok.."
Just as Aria said that a demon boy ran up to them.
"Sir, we need you, now, there are Angels....they killed some of our demons, you need to help!"
Aria heard the news and got off her father's back. "Abba help them, I'll play around with the angels here by myself for a bit ok?"

Journey was sitting at a familiar site. She was sitting down, her legs almost curled under her. She gently touched the dirt laying under her. "I miss you sis....so much...I hope you're happy...in heaven." She said crying, her tears dripped on the grave. Juliet has been dead for a few months, Journey always blamed herself though, if she was just quicker, her little sister would be alive.
Journey was about to sing, in honor of Juliet but then she looked all over, Angels fell! None by her...but she watched them...it was a horrible sight, they all looked weakened and hurt and thats when she went wide eyed. Only two feet away her sister fell beside her. "Juliet?!" She got up and ran to her. The angel was on her side, her wings gray and broken, her halo gold but broken too. She had cuts all over her and bandages around them...she looked almost the same the minute she died, her wounds still looked fresh from when Journey wrapped them months ago. Her wolf ears twitched for a moment. "...Sister...?" Juliet heard Journey's voice and weakly opened her eyes, smiling. "Sis.." Journey looked over her. "You're alive...Juliet....oh my god Juliet!" she smiled in happiness but cried more as she laid by her sister and hugged her.

"Those Angels...they never learn do they? Alright I'm coming. Enjoy yourself here darling, and when you're done wait for me back at the palace. Be sure to be back by Twilight though. I don't want you staying out too late"
He gave her a smile and a hug, then vanished, taking the messenger with him

The red haired man stepped out when the Demon King vanished
"Slaughtering Angels..." he said softly
"Not the most kind of past times...what have they done to you to warrant such a brutal and horrific fate?"
His eyes stared into hers, his piercing green eyes seeming as though they were staring into her very soul itself

"They don't ever...I will Daddy...I promise." She hugged him back then looked around to the kid. He was taller than her and looked tougher than her but she didn't show any fear or emotion. "I don't talk to people daddy wouldn't like me to." She turned and started walking away.
A few angels got up and looked at her.

The demon brought the king to this old ruined battle arena it seemed, demons, a ton, maybe a hundred, laid dead on the ground and only one Angel stood that beat them. He looked up at the king quickly then he vanished.

He looked at her for a long moment as she walked off. He let out a long yawn and stretched his arms
"Maybe we'll meet again and you'll be in more of a mood to tell me why exactly you feel the need to kill innocent people..."
He turned around himself and started walking off, then spotted the Angels out of the corner of his eye
"You lot better run before she sees fit to murder the lot of you, and trust me from what I'v seen she's plenty capable and ruthless enough to do it..."


Zarathustra looked around, scanning the Demons to see who had died
"Did you get a good look at him? The Angel?" he asked the messenger, kneeling down, examining one of the bodies
"The coward ran at the sight of me...not as strong as he might like to be obviously...
"Malachi" he said softly, and the cloaked figure appeared several feet behind him
"We have...a...situation. Deal with it"
Malachi bowed and vanished as quickly as he had appeared

Aria rolled her eyes hearing him, she just kept walking.
"So what?" She liked killing angels, she loved the sight of their blood and even getting their blood on her.
"You think its funny?" A voice asked behind her. "For so many to die again?" She growled, two butterflies came next to her. "Leave me alone." She started walking but was grabbed and he covered her mouth. "I don't think so child. The king needs to stop these killings...they are innocent angels...and I know one thing, he loves you very much, if he wants you to live, he'll stop." He soon disappeared with Aria, leaving the two butterflies behind.

Sully walked down the street looking around he loved it here and wanted to stay forever. He had to be careful though because of an old enemy named Mosey who had been the one to originally kill him and now is again hunting him and try to send him back to where he actually belonged but he wasn't going willingly.

Guardian appeared with Remedy and leaned against a tree. "I think we are safe here..." He said gasping out. That teleport had taken alot out of him.
"Mom... Dad... how could they just..." Remedy looked traumatized.
"Remedy, Don't worry they are in a better place now..."
"I want revenge..." She growled a bit.
"Revenge isn't the answer."
"Yes it is! I will kill all Demons ALL OF THEM!" She took out a sword.


Geode and Bailey looked around. "Where did they go?" Geode asked frowning a bit.
"No idea, lets go find another one though, should be simple enough!" She walked with Geode looking aorund for another angel to kill.
