Light Vs. Shadows

The world was once in balance, two spirits, watched over the world with all their might. One spirit was a fox, it controlled the day, it gave life and light to the world. The other was a wolf, he controlled darkness, he created the moon, as the fox created the sun and he controlled the night and darkness. He controlled the seas and half the land as the fox controlled the other half.
One day however, the fox grew weak, it had given too much light, too much power to those who needed it and had none for himself. The wolf stood back and watched, his dark eyes over the dying fox. He smiled at himself, this would make him ruler, why did he want that? That way he controlled everything. He sent his shadows into the fox, taking the rest of its life. He soon now controlled night and day.
But he was just a spirit, little did he know the guardians of the land, they were under the rule of him but all together they used their powers, powers of everything imaginable, to stop him.
The spirit was defeated and night and day was saved.

There is even more to the story though, the wolves saw that the guardians went after only their ancestor spirit, this filled them with rage, they killed their ancestor for taking over a job that the fox could not handle. In their eyes, he was a hero.
In the foxes, he was a sinner. Soon the guardians saw an attack coming from the wolves and let all their power out, setting them into newborn children, who would one day take over for them.
The guardians died without a fight and the wolves smiled believing they were victorious. Night and Day start coming naturally though and the wolves had no real powers….

This upset them and they grew mad. Soon, a horrible wind blew upon them and that was the wolf spirit…whatever power he had stored in him when he died was given to them.
The wolves, happy now from their power decided to create their own balance…they broke the land they knew into half, one side for the wolves and the other for the foxes.
They wanted to kill the foxes but could not as the spirit warned them that some power rests within those foxes and could damage the world killing all of them. He explained what the guardians had done and now the wolves must wait till the day of Shadow eclipse, the day the sun is brutally blocked, for the children’s power to show, once they do, its time to kill and take all the power for themselves.
The foxes must fight back though….
Who in the end is the real winner?

Foxes usually are for good and wolves are usually bad but feel free to mix it up. The guardians put powers in both fox and wolf children, so....they can all have powers or just be normal foxes/wolves that are in a war ready to fight.
The whole roleplay is supposed to be a war, foxes vs wolves, but it doesn't have to be like that.
